ProNET - The Quick And Easy Amiga Network

ProNET is an easy-to-install and efficient low-cost network system similar to ParNet. The most important use is sharing devices like hard disks, floppies and CD-ROM drives between computers in the network. The latest version is V3.4.

I've stopped ProNET development in early 1997 when I realized that "real" networking protocols like TCP/IP are much more interesting for most uses. Nevertheless, there is still a need for something like ProNET, which gives you the possibility of quickly connecting two Amigas without much hassle.

Between Versions 3.0 and 3.2, ProNET has been Shareware. But as I think charging for a product that is not developed any longer isn't particularly nice, I have re-released ProNET under the GNU GPL as of Version 3.4. Users which don't want to upgrade their installation can download the key file for earlier versions (remember to rename it to .key before installing it into DEVS:). There haven't been any functional changes between V3.2 and V3.4.
